The curriculum - IB Career-related Programme (IBCP)

At the very centre of the CP curriculum Model is the IB Learner Profile which is the IB mission statement translated into a set of learning outcomes for the 21st century resulting in a recognised certificate.

CP students undertake a minimum of two IB Diploma Programme (DP) subjects at Standard Level, a core consisting of four components and career-related studies (CRS).

DP subjects: either at SL or HL

Language B Acquisition: (SL & HL) English

CP Core:

  • Personal & Professional skills (PPS): Emphasis is on the development of skills needed to successfully navigate higher education, the workplace and society.
  • Language Development: it provides students with a basis for further study, work and leisure through the use of an additional language.
  • Service Learning: students see the practical application of knowledge and skills towards meeting an identified community need
  • Reflective Project: is an in-depth body of work produced over an extended period and submitted in year 2 of the Career-related Programme.

Career-related studies (CRS)

The Royal Swedish Ballet School (KSB) is a long-time established ballet education, including both classical ballet and a wide range of contemporary styles. CRS at KSB offers an education where the artistic and physical training go hand in hand to reach the professional standard and demands of today’s dance scene. The staff is experienced with a background in the profession. KSB collaborates closely with The Royal Swedish Ballet, Göteborgsoperans Danskompani and many more.

Royal Swedish Ballet School, KSB has gained recognition from the international dance community.
