The curriculum - IB Career-related Programme (IBCP)
At the very centre of the CP curriculum Model is the IB Learner Profile which is the IB mission statement translated into a set of learning outcomes for the 21st century resulting in a recognised certificate.
CP students undertake a minimum of two DP subjects, a core consisting of four components and career-related studies (CRS).
DP subjects: either at standard level (SL) or higher level (HL)
CP students chose to study minimum two of the below listed DP subjects:

Core:
The CP core is designed to create a bridge that connects each student’s chosen DP subjects and career-related study. It includes four components: personal and professional skills, service learning, language development and a reflective project.
- Personal & Professional skills (PPS): Emphasis is on the development of skills needed to successfully navigate higher education, the workplace and society.
- Language Development: it provides students with a basis for further study, work and leisure through the use of an additional language.
- Service Learning: students see the practical application of knowledge and skills towards meeting an identified community need
- An in-depth piece of work to help students analyse and reflect their career-based learning. They base this around identifying and analysing an ethical issue which has arisen during the course.
Career-related studies (CRS)
The Royal Swedish Ballet School (KSB) is a long-time established ballet education, including both classical ballet and a wide range of contemporary styles. CRS in dance at KSB offers an education where the artistic and physical training go hand in hand to reach the professional standard and demands of today’s dance scene. The staff is experienced with a background in the profession. KSB collaborates closely with The Royal Swedish Ballet, Göteborgsoperans Danskompani and many more.
