At ISSR, PYP and MYP are only open to families with a temporary work contract. The DP is open to both the local and international communities, but priority is given to families with temporary work contract.

Intake

ISSR has ongoing intake for PYP and MYP/Grade 0–10.

In DP the intake closes in September, hence DP students cannot start after September. ISSR does not operate with a waiting list.

CP

ISSR is a Candidate School* for the IBCP This school is pursuing authorization as an IB World School. These are schools that share a common philosophy – a commitment to high quality, challenging, international education that ISSR believes is important for our students.

*Only schools authorized by the IB Organization can offer any of its four academic programmes: the Primary Years Programme (PYP), the Middle Years Programme (MYP), the Diploma Programme, or the Career-related Programme (CP).  Candidate status gives no guarantee that authorization will be granted. Applications are accepted from November 2024 for a start in August 2025. The deadline is February 1st. The outcome of the auditions is communicated from mid-February. Late applications are subject to availability.

Fees

ISSR is run by the City of Stockholm and has no fees. Members of diplomatic missions who are not EU/EEA or Swiss citizens will have to pay the tuition fee for students in Grade10 to DP2.
