Career-related Programme
The International Baccalaureate Career-related Programme (CP) is a two-year programme for students aged of 16-19. The IBCP draws on the academic rigor of the International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme (DP) subjects in combination with career-related study and real-world experience. The programme comes in three parts: subjects from the DP, the CP core and CRS.
- ISSR is a Candidate School* for the IBCP. This school is pursuing authorization as an IB World School. These are schools that share a common philosophy—a commitment to high quality, challenging, international education that ISSR believes is important for our students.
- *Only schools authorized by the IB Organization can offer any of its four academic programmes: the Primary Years Programme (PYP), the Middle Years Programme (MYP), the Diploma Programme, or the Career-related Programme (CP). Candidate status gives no guarantee that authorization will be granted.
IB Career-related Programme (CP)
The CP at International School of the Stockholm Region (ISSR) is designed for students who are interested in pursuing a professional career in dance. This is done through a collaboration with The Royal Swedish Ballet School (KSB) who will offer the career-related study. In the CRS, students can choose between the profiles: Classical ballet or Contemporary dance, watch films below.

IB Career-related Programme curriculum
The CP is a unique two-year programme that combines the rigour of the IB Diploma Programme with the focus on career-related learning.
CP students undertake a minimum of two DP subjects, a core consisting of four components and career-related studies (CRS).
The CP enables students to:
- Develop a broad range of career-related competencies and to deepen their understanding in general areas of knowledge,
- foster the attributes of the learner profile, allowing students to become true lifelong learners willing to consider new perspectives and think critically.
The CP core emphasises experiential learning to develop their personal and professional skills. In addition, it aims to equip students with the necessary interpersonal and problem-solving abilities, which are desirable in the workplace and ensure their adaptability to an ever-evolving world.
